Taiwan’s ‘Big Three’ carriers in the money for now, but warn of uncertain future

Taiwan’s top three liner carriers, Yang Ming Marine Transportation, Evergreen Marine and Wan Hai Lines, have delivered positive first quarter results.

However, tariff and trade war uncertainties make a repeat performance in the second quarter less likely, as April and May volumes are likely to have been impacted, the companies said.
