The American Maritime Partnership (AMP) has just rolled out a fresh ad campaign titled “always Ready. Always Present.” This initiative serves as a heartfelt salute to the dedicated mariners and vessels that bolster U.S. national, homeland, and economic security.

This campaign will be featured on cable networks in Washington, D.C., and also across various digital platforms. It’s a collaborative effort with industry allies like the American Waterways Operators,which champions the tugboat and barge sector,and the Transportation Institute,focused on maritime research and advocacy.

The timing is meaningful; president Trump along with bipartisan leaders in congress are making strides to enhance America’s shipbuilding capabilities and shipping sectors.

The Jones Act mandates that all vessels transporting goods within U.S. waters must be owned by Americans, crewed by Americans, built in America, and proudly flying the Stars and Stripes. The video showcases real-life captains aboard the El Coquí in Puerto Rico alongside various ports nationwide—highlighting those who exemplify dedication to keeping America at its best.
