Honoring Four Decades of Innovation in Aviation: Thrust Tech's Journey
Celebrating 40 years in the aviation sector is quite a feat, and Thrust Tech Accessories (TTA) has done just that! Located near Fort lauderdale Executive Airport in South Florida, TTA has thrived as 1985 by adhering to ten essential principles: credibility, reliability, trustworthiness, industry expertise, adaptability, experience, stability, resilience, leadership qualities, and a lasting legacy.
“This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without our remarkable team members and loyal customers—many of whom we’ve partnered with for years,” shared Stanley Kowlessar Sr., President and General Manager of TTA. “As we embark on this new journey together, we’re excited about what lies ahead.”
Starting as a modest rewind shop back in the day, TTA has transformed into a comprehensive MRO accessory provider catering to corporate jets and helicopters as well as narrow-body commercial aircraft—including cargo planes. Since Kowlessar took over in 2017, the company has broadened its capabilities substantially.
TTA holds certifications from major regulatory bodies like the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), EASA (European Union aviation Safety Agency), and CAA (U.K. civil Aviation Authority).
In late 2024,TTA launched a new manufacturing hub in Miramar that greatly expands its operational capacity. This facility enables us to create crucial replacement parts internally—addressing notable supply chain challenges while providing timely solutions for our global clientele.
“This expansion boosts our supply chain efficiency,” Kowlessar noted. “It allows us to manage costs effectively while keeping our clients flying high.”
Over the decades,TTA’s adaptability has been put to the test through various economic ups and downs—from events like 9/11 to fuel shortages and even the COVID pandemic. During those tough times,TTA doubled its inventory of parts anticipating future needs—a strategic move that ensured seamless service delivery.
Kowlessar credits their success to an experienced workforce steeped in institutional knowledge along with an innovative culture.“One employee has been part of our family for over three decades,” he remarked proudly. “Our people truly are at the core of everything we do.”
The company is also adapting proactively to workforce changes driven by generational shifts and evolving workplace expectations. By reintroducing classic employee benefits alongside robust training programs,TTA is cultivating a skilled workforce ready for tomorrow’s challenges.
Recently,TTA achieved AS9110C and ISO9001:2015 certifications while bringing more repair processes under their roof.“We prioritize listening closely to customer feedback,” Kowlessar emphasized. “Their insights guide our growth strategy towards cost-effective solutions.”
Tackling its fifth decade head-on,TAA remains committed not only to excellence but also organic growth tailored around an ever-evolving aviation landscape.
