NX China Secures GDP Certification for Facilities in Shanghai and Lianyungang

As reported by Nippon Express, their China division has recently achieved Good Distribution Practise (GDP) certification for the air and ocean transportation of pharmaceutical goods at its facilities located in Shanghai and Lianyungang. This certification took effect on February 21, 2025.

The pharmaceutical sector in China ranks just behind the United States in size and is poised for further expansion, driven by an aging demographic and increasing disposable incomes. To tap into this booming market, NX China launched a Healthcare Branch in Shanghai back in 2022. Recently, two of its locations received GDP certification to enhance their ability to deliver top-notch logistics services tailored for pharmaceuticals.

Lianyungang stands out as a key player due to its proximity to one of China’s largest clusters of pharmaceutical firms and direct access to shipping routes from local ports. With GDP certification under its belt, NX China can now provide air and ocean freight services that adhere to stringent safety protocols essential for transporting pharmaceuticals.
