Bardex's Daniel Toerner Named to 2025 OTC Emerging Leaders Cohort
Bardex Corp. is excited to share that Daniel Toerner has been selected for the 2025 Emerging Leaders class at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC). This annual event highlights promising professionals in the energy sector who show exceptional talent and dedication, paving their way to becoming future leaders in offshore energy. Each year, past recipients choose new honorees from those with less than a decade of experience in the field.
Toerner graduated with a B.S. in ocean engineering from Texas A&M University in 2020 and joined Bardex as a technical sales engineer in 2024. In this role, he focuses on global business development for innovative solutions related to offshore mooring and shiplift systems. His background includes naval architecture work on vessels navigating inter-coastal waterways and managing asset integrity for offshore projects. Additionally, he serves as the Student Section Chair for SNAME (Society of naval Architects and Marine Engineers) Texas section and participated as part of the Young Professional subcommittee at the Deepwater Operations/Topside, Platforms, and Hulls conference last year.
“I’m truly honored to be recognized among this year’s OTC Emerging Leaders,” Toerner expressed. “I owe my gratitude to my family, friends, and colleagues who have supported me throughout my journey. I’m eager to keep growing within this industry I’m passionate about while striving to meet the expectations that come with this recognition.”
The OTC will celebrate its 2025 Emerging Leaders class during an award ceremony on May 6th—congratulations are due not only to Daniel but also his fellow awardees! (Check out the complete list of winners hear.)
