Gebrüder Weiss Partners with Rutgers to Revitalize Supply Chain Scholarship Program
As reported by Gebrüder Weiss, the logistics firm has extended its scholarship initiative at Rutgers University’s business school for an additional five years.
This program,which kicked off in 2020,saw Gebrüder Weiss North America contribute $25,000 to the Rutgers University Foundation. The focus is on students eager to dive into careers in supply chain and logistics. With this renewal, the company will allocate $5,000 annually over the next five years specifically for students pursuing supply chain management at Rutgers.
“We initiated our scholarship program at rutgers to create pathways into supply chain professions. The enthusiasm and talent of each recipient have truly impressed us,” stated Mark mccullough, CEO of Gebrüder Weiss North America, in a press release dated June 4. “We are excited about continuing our partnership with Rutgers and nurturing future leaders in supply chain management.”
The 2025 recipients of the gebrüder Weiss scholarship include Gabriel Godoi De Lima, who is majoring in both supply chain management and marketing; Jun Pak, a dedicated supply chain management student; and Nikhil Walia—a recent graduate who also majored in marketing alongside his studies in supply chain management. Citing data from Gartner, it’s noteworthy that Rutgers’ undergraduate program ranks among North America’s top five for supply chain management graduates—82% of whom secure job offers before graduation.
